My Joyful Gifts

My name is Joy Silvester and I design and create unique gifts in my garden studio in the beautiful Aeron valley just outside of Talsarn in West Wales.

I like to make lovely gifts in various different art forms such as fused glass, origami, resin, neeflefelting and embroidery.

I enjoy recycling and repurposing beads and pieces of jewellery and make them into something new and unusual, such as my range of trinket trays, memory keepsakes and suncatchers.

I use beautiful papers to make bright and colourful origami dragons and crane mobiles, and unusual origami gift cards. I recycle used OS maps of the local area to make origami bunting and bookmarks, a great gift for any keen walkers or book readers.

I've had fun designing a range of cards using lots of different materials, made to send to someone special in your life.

Needlefelting is a very therapeutic pastime and I've been inspired to make hares, foxes and badgers etc from the wonderful wildlife that regularly visits our garden.

I have made a range of fused glass gifts and during the festive season there is also a wide selection of beautiful fused glass decorations to adorn your home, as well as bejewelled baubles and fun needlefelted characters.
