Cork Creations Ceredigion

I was born in Belgium, moved to UK in 1997 and moved to Wales in November 2024.

I always loved sewing but only started sewing with Cork Fabric in 2022.

I accidently stumbled upon the Cork Fabric but immediately fell in love with the material itself as well as it’s qualities: cork is sustainable, water resistant and biodegradable.

Cork fabric is often referred to as “vegan leather” because it feels like leather but it originates from a tree, not an animal.

I import the Cork Fabric from Portugal and handmake all the items on my trusty sewing machine in our Welsh countryside cottage in Llandysul.

People often ask me about the durability - but although the items are lightweight - they are strong, foldable and very durable.
