Stained Glass commissions, restorations, gifts and tuition

Cariad Glass is based in the small market town of Llandysul in rural west Wales, overlooking the stunning River Teifi. We produce a wide range of glass gifts, mirrors, bespoke glass panels and also offer a restoration service.

Chris has been working as a stained glass artist since 2002 and has worked on commissions for clients across the UK as well as further afield – Australia, New Zealand, America and even The Bahamas! His work has also featured in video form at the V&A Museum.

Along with wife Justine,  we are now able to offer tuition to small groups of people who would like to try their hand at the ancient art of stained glass, or perhaps improve existing skills.

We work primarily  with sheet glass and lead, but also use copper foil, some fusing work, sandblasting and kiln-fired painting  in our work.

The ancient art of stained glass is incredibly rewarding, versatile and fascinating – please do get in touch and we will be delighted to discuss your requirements.

Normal studio hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 9.30am til 4.30pm, Weds 9.30am-1pm and Saturdays by appointment BUT this does vary depending on workload, so do please give us a call if travelling to visit the studio.
