Blacksmithing

Artist blacksmiths make beautiful decorative ironworks and attractive functional pieces. An ancient craft using the principles of hot forging iron and steel, working with a fire, a hammer and an anvil, surprisingly elegant and organic-looking forms are created.
Commissions are welcome for larger items - gates, staircases, you name it - but an attractive range of smaller items - candlesticks, bowls, bookends, bottle openers, hooks, fire irons - are on sale at our events. Extremely tactile, always original and full of character, handmade ironworks lend distinction to any home and make a charming gift.
